yo question now i had NO clue who or what herobrine was cuz u see im new but ive been finding freaky torches in places ive never been in… and i ahev it set to peaceful next day of playing MC i got attacked on peaceful…. i was just building my home…so uhmm what does herobrine do? cuz im scared now

Herobrine is a Minecraft urban legend.

A user named CreepyPasta originally posted a story in which he tells of a single-player game encounter with what appears to be a another player. This “other player” had the default skin, but his eyes were completely white. This character quickly ran off and due to CreepyPasta’s tiny render distance, he was unable to follow.

Over the course of a few days in his single-player world, he started to notice strange things such as 2x2 holes burrowed through stone, small sand pyramids in the ocean, and clusters of trees with their leaves missing. Curious, he searched for other reported sightings around the net and eventually found a small group of people who had shared similar experiences.

Along his search for other reports, he states that his forum posts were being deleted and that he received a short post from a user named “Herobrine” that simply said “stop”. After some further research, he was lead to believe that it was the username of Notch’s brother. He then emailed Notch to ask him about his brother, to which Notch eventually replied “He is no longer with us.”

Since then there have been countless Herobrine sightings though the developers deny his existence. He is Minecraft’s version of Bigfoot.

I watched a youtube video about herobine and when I watched it….. IT SCARED THE FREAKING DAYLIGHTS OUT OF ME LIKE SEEING FREAKING BIGFOOT! Notch I think your right about herobine, its like he’s a freaking creepy stalker who just wants to freak us out

guys there is nothing to be scared of here is my 999999999999% true story of herobrine. I was building in a world when i saw herobrine at the top of a hill of sand. I started to climb up and he started to climb down and we met in the middle he looked at me and i looked at him then we acctully started to build together no joke. now we message each other in glow stone and time to time i will be building and i look beside me and he will be there helping me.At first i thought it was that my skin was scorpion from mk9 because he has white eyes but then i releyesed it was because i didn’t run from him i accepted his creations and stuff he placed as natural. this story is 999999999999% true i don’t lie

Herobrine is a myth, a legend or even a hoax. There are some pictures that are easly proven to be wrong, and other that are a bit harder… Some of the people do believe in that hoax, other doesn’t, and others just want to believe. Leave them alone.

In the NORMAL game, yes, its probably just a myth, but there are some mods such as Humans+ add Herobrine, or “Him”. I have encountered the pyramids and what-not in normal singleplayer, but I have only ever actually seen him whilst using Humans+

I was playing minecraft i saw a man in 1 player i was making my house and i sow a man no name it was a man looking at me look a dogi follow is but here was away in the fog it was a bit of a pit to see that? 1 week later my bro was playing minecraft he told me that here so a man he said that was herobrine i said i saw him to a did it look like a man how look like u he said yes but wheth no eye? it was mean he said that he got a mod but i saw in on the no mode. and he killed me i whant to see vip notch

i had that happen to me it was scraey it appered behind me in mineing for 4 or 5 seconds and later that day i saw glowing sphes in the dark looking like glowstone blocks later i saw a sigh that said my dark farther please kill this mortel and at that second i saw him behind me with a axe in hand creepey huh nope! i respawned not next to my bed but in the nether hoped this help on the serch for horobrine

Herobrine is real. I’ve seen him many times, and even tried to fight him. For proof my computer doesn’t take mods. It seems that not even a diamond sword can defeat HIM.

i saw hero brine in my world twice today he was hiding behind a sheep walking towards a tree and i saw so i ran away thinking it was HIM and when i entered the kitchen part of my home(it was a platform on a tall mountain with rooms carved in)i was making a crafting table since the other was outside where i passes by and in my other room which i had to open the door and i was to scared to risk so i stood in the corner making wood planks and with the 4 extra i had i made a crafting table for the kitchen when right before i clicked the crafting table to get it i see a blue figure appear in front of me so i closed the inventory window and it disappeared i closed mine craft and searched hero brine videos hoping to see someone to help me it was my best world the seed is Bumpy Road since i wanted a flat area and Flatgrass Gave mountainous places

there is no way to tell if herobrine is real or not. However, i have seen a video on youtube that shows a guy playing minecraft with his buddies and he is making and extension to a wall for defense and he and his buddies are talking about herobrine (this was on beta). and as the guy is making extensions, he turns a corner and sees a name plate for a milisecond. he types in on the chat: “I SAW A NAME!!!!”. after replaying the section of the video where he supposedly saw a name plate several times, i managed to pause it on the key frame where he sees it, and i get a clear shot of the name plate, which says: Herobrine. I am dead freaking serious. if you want to check, then search on youtube herobrine is in beta. This is no joke here is the link to the vid: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KHPSKaFaOx8. He appears at the very end so if you only want to see that part, skip ahead to about 4:48 then watch carefully.

Herobrine exist i am the creator we have kept him secret for a while. i did not want the players to know so i told them he was removed but he wasnt…The reason i did not want the players to know is for the urge to explore to find out yourself. But Herobrine is actualy my dead brother we added him in in the early update of 1.4. beware players because he is watching you…

herobrine is not real in all likelihood. there is a minecraft account for him, but this can be explained if someone thought it was a cool name. or, they could have read the creepy pasta and wanted to fan the flames. most youtube videos are hoaxes based on texture packs that only change the paintings. also, the argument about the minecraft account part two could be applied to they users named notch and herobrine.

I’ve know pretty lots of information about Herobrine. Heres some signs of Him: 1. 2 block high tunnels lit up with redstone 2. torches/red torches at places that you’ve never came or placed 3. random buildings(usually pyramids) that you didn’t build 4.blocks that you haven’t placed 5.trees without leaves 6.your house got griefed 7.someone stole your items 8. noises like ghast but not in the nether 9.dungeons/mineshaft lit up with redstone torches

P/S: Herobrine sometimes spawned when you set your difficult to peaceful and render distance to tiny

i study the Herobrine herobrine is a real player that is in single-player to remember Notchs brother that passed away :( Notch said he removed herobrine 1.8.1 but he didnt… i was in my little home witch i just made going to get some wood when i noticed leaves were dissapering form the tree i looked up and i saw a player no name with white eyes looking at me then he ran away so i was scared at shit and i went back to my little home it was night at night i saw him looking in my door thats all i have seen of him ever since i tryed to find him

Hero brine is real I have seen him in the video you see when you scroll up on this page (when ever the guy who is building messes up and presses 45 then has to erase and type 5 after u get to that part really quickly click the play and pause button (pause for 1 to 2 seconds every time u click the play and a pause buttons) until u see the name Herobrine (the guy is looking toward the land and not upwards when he sees the name (the video speaks the truth)

Herobrine is real that video u see earlier up that was made by jared is true near the end of the video where the guy building messes up and types 45 instead of 5 as soon as u see that click the play and pause button twice then wait 1-2seconds then again and again and so forth until u see the name herobrine (do the 1-2second pauses on the pauses not the plays (when u see the name he is looking outward not when he is looking up at the wood) . .
